I'm Back Again!!!

Wow it has been forever since I have posted anything...why not now. I saw a good friend of mine posted a blog and I thought I used to do that and it was fun. So I got a new password and thought I would give it another go. The last time I posted I think myspace was the new thing.

What have I been up to since I wrote my last blog? Got a boyfriend thats about all thats new. He's a keeper I think I will keep him around for a while.

My main struggle right now is between the cupcake and the carrot. My co-workers and I are having a biggest looser competition and the last weigh in is Monday, I have lost about 10 pounds so far...but is it enough? For me it seems the less I try the more I loose. I first started eating right and working out really hard. I barely lost anything. So I quit working out as hard, and boom somewhere 10 pounds disappeared. I mean I still eat right but I'm not running two miles a day, just a little run in the backyard. It doesn't matter to me if I win or loose though, I have done a good job so far. In fact, co-workers I think we should all celebrate our victories on Monday with some ice cream. Doesn't that sounds good? Double fundge chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle cone. Go ahead friend I think you all deserve some early celebration go a head and hit the DQ and bite into a couple scoops of cold heaven...mwhaa!!!!

I'm Back!!!

Well I noticed that November was my last blog so maybe I should let you in on what has changed since then.

I went to California which was a blast. I want to go back so bad. Oh and there is the boyfriend Jason, he's awesome! We have been together for about 8 months now...how times flies. My nephew Jake turned one and is now running around everywhere. My niece Sammy just started preschool...they grow up way too fast.

I've made a bunch of new friend who are super cool. It's always fun to meet and hang out with new people. In fact, we went to the Akron U opening game on Saturday, and when I say we went there I meant we worked a concession stand at the stadium. It was fun at times, but the bee's were horrible. After the game we went to my favorite restaurant Applebee's with some friends. We got our favorite waiter Chad, and I got a free dessert. After dinner we went back to Jason's house and had an outside movie night with a wine cooler. We watched a movie called UHF with weird Al in it, very 80's corny but kind of funny at the same time. Being the second time I have seen this movie I would have to say Weird Al is an acquired taste. But let me tell you, you can't get a better Saturday night than that. Time with friend + dinner+ a kick A movie + a cherry wine cooler = a good time.

Shhh!!!

For the past 25 years I have been known as being "quiet," and I always ask myself why I am? Well, last night while standing out in the freezing cold talking to my friends I finally figured out why. I tend to say some pretty dumb shit! I forget what we were talking about but when there was a split second of silence I said this (and only God knows why): "you know how Tinkerbell got her name? Because she tinkers." Now why on earth did I add this piece of useless information that had absolutely nothing to do with what we talking about? I think that I might just be missing that part of my brain that says "you know, you should really think twice before saying that." The sad thing is, is that its not the most random thing I have ever said, just read a previous blog. Yeah, random it's not dumb shit I mean who doesn't want to know how Tinkerbell got her name? So watch out if you get the chance to really know me, who knows what I might say?!?

Where am I?

Alright I am going to start this one off by letting you all in on a little secret...my sense of direction sucks! Now on to the story. I went to Target today in search of an air fresher for a very stinky van. While out I passed a Target I have never been through and thought "ok Target will have some it will be an in and out thing" I could have never been so wrong. I'm a person who admits her mistakes and make fun of herself because lets face it...I deserve it. You know how most chain stores like that are all pretty much set up the same way, well not this one. I walked around and found an air freshener right away, but now it was time to leave. So I headed in what I thought was the right direction but ended up going in a complete circle. Yes ladies and gentleman I got lost in Target. I walked around for at least five minutes trying to find my way out. I get lost quite frequently on the road that understandable...but the store even I think that's pretty rediculous. In my defence though, it was a super target.

Ribs?

For those of you that might not know me I can have moments were I'm well...a little air headed. Last night I worked at a benefit concert to raise money for breast cancer. Before the event started us workers ate, and I was told we were having prime rib. Now, what i thought was "well I don't really like ribs but I am craving BBQ sauce so it should be good", but when the waitress brought out something that looked like a non-cooked steak I was a little disappointed, and later thought I had E. Coli poisoning. I am not a fan of that kind of meat...I am more of a chicken fan. In fact, when handed a menu I completely skip that entire section. Now fellow co-workers thought it was funny that I had gotten BBQ ribs and prime ribs confused. All I have to say to all of you is that it's a simple mistake that several people have made I am sure. Oh, and in case any are worried I recovered from the E. Coli poisoning just fine!

My Life Now

Lately, and I don't know why, but I have been thinking of how much my life has changed in the past year. And not just in my personal life, but in my professional life as well. There have been a few roadblocks but all in all it's been pretty good. Since last year I am now a full time employee as a promotions assistant, and I must say it's actually a pretty cool job. Second I have gained so many new friends, and I have been doing things I would have never guessed I would do. If you would have told me last year that I would standing out in the parking lot waiting for a hearse, have a blast at the skankiest night club in town, or watch drag queens go up and down the isles of a movie theatre while I throw a box of rice, I would laugh in your face. And the most important thing that has happened to me in the past year arrived a month ago, my nephew Jake. He is the cutest little boy, and I love him and his sister more than anything in the world! Oh and I am going to try and take up Tae Kwon do again, I will let you know how that one goes. There have been ups and downs, but that is the way life goes. Life wouldn't be fun if there weren't a few challenges in the way.

My main goal in this blog is to tell stories of events that has happened in my life that I might find amusing, and hope you do too.
